Evariste's childhood was rather calm. Born a prodigy, his intelligence quickly propelled him into the limelight of Ishgard's greatest nobles. His parents gave in to almost all his whims. The childhood that any child of the Brume would have wanted. But the love of his parents was not the most interesting thing for Evariste, it was books. He exiled himself into reading, remembering all the books he have read so far.His adolescence was much more turbulent as the Dragon War raged in the Holy City. Having begun medical studies, he was sent to the front as a military doctor when he was only 18 years old. He saw many of his brothers in arms die, but above all, he was captured by heretics and tortured for a whole month before being found by his brother, letting the prodigy marked forever, physically and emotionally. Not being able to see his body anymore and mostly his back, he covered them with a tattoo of a crow's skeleton. Being a skillfull pianist, he was asking to wrote a requiem that he played on the piano under the snow of the Coerthas to honour the memory of his brothers who died in battle.After two years of struggling with the memories of his past, he obtained his PhD in medecine and astrology at only 20 years old, making him the youngest Doctor in the Holy City. But behind every sucessful men there is someone else you're going to say? Right. Evariste's Father, Vallerain De Hautegar. A fine man in appearance but a real tyran behind closed doors. Let's say that every scars and pair of broken glasses was not Evariste fault.Now 22 years old, the Doctor is well known outside the walls of Ishgard and his popularity never went down. Being very popular with the nobles of the Holy City, he spend most of his free time in receptions and that kind of stuff.
